All Modern Apprentices who complete the SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF Level 7 are invited to attend our Annual Graduation Ceremony with family and friends to celebrate their achievement.
Modern Apprenticeship qualifications are highly regarded throughout the Early Years sector and this is supported by the attendance of the Senior Moderator from Qualifications Scotland, who is responsible for bestowing the honour on each graduate as they are called to the stage to receive their award.
Guest speakers from Skills Development Scotland and employers participating in apprenticeships are also in attendance and they speak of the importance of the Modern Apprenticeship scheme as a whole in providing a springboard into the job market as a qualified early years’ practitioner.
Photographers are on hand to record the occasion and refreshments are provided after the ceremony.

We were also delighted to announce our winner of our Catherine Anderson Award of Achievement.
This award recognises resilience, determination and the courage to never give up.
James Swan who was an outstanding apprentice, and despite facing challenges and barriers, he remained committed to achieving his qualification and demonstrated perseverance throughout his learning journey.
